2. Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated, our giveaways and prize draws are open to UK residents aged 18 or over.

Employees, contractors or anyone directly involved in administering a promotion are not eligible to enter.

Any additional eligibility requirements will be stated on the individual giveaway or prize draw.

3. How to enter

Entry instructions will be provided on the relevant giveaway post, form or promotion.

No purchase is necessary to enter unless the promotion specifically states otherwise and is operated in accordance with applicable UK law.

Entries must be received before the closing date and time stated for the individual promotion.

Unless otherwise stated, only one entry per person is permitted.

Incomplete, automated, fraudulent or otherwise invalid entries may be excluded.

4. Closing dates

The opening and closing date and time for each giveaway will be clearly stated on the relevant promotion.

Entries received after the stated closing time will not be accepted.

5. Prizes

The prize, number of prizes and any important restrictions will be stated in the individual promotion.

Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless Lace & Letters Ltd decides otherwise.

Where a prize is personalised or made to order, the winner may be required to provide the information reasonably necessary for Lace & Letters to produce the prize.

Standard UK delivery will be included unless otherwise stated in the individual promotion.

6. Choosing the winner

Unless another method is clearly stated, winners of prize draws will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before the closing date.

Lace & Letters Ltd will use a fair and verifiably random method of selection.

Where a promotion is judged rather than selected at random, the judging criteria and any relevant details will be provided with that promotion.

7. Contacting winners

Winners will be contacted using the contact details provided when entering or through the platform on which the promotion was held.

Unless otherwise stated, winners will have 7 days to respond.

If a winner does not respond within that period, cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible or is unable to accept the prize, Lace & Letters Ltd may select another eligible winner.

Lace & Letters Ltd will never ask a winner to provide bank or card details in order to claim a free prize.

8. Winner information

Where required, Lace & Letters Ltd may make available information showing that a valid prize has been awarded.

A winner may object to their information being published or request that the amount of information published is reduced. This will not prevent Lace & Letters Ltd from providing information to the Advertising Standards Authority where required.

9. Personal information

Personal information collected as part of a giveaway will be used to administer the promotion, contact winners and deliver prizes.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Lace & Letters Privacy Policy.

Entering a giveaway does not automatically consent an entrant to receive general marketing communications from Lace & Letters Ltd. Where marketing consent is requested, this will be provided as a separate choice.

10. Changes or cancellation

Lace & Letters Ltd reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend a promotion where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable.

Any changes will be handled fairly and, where reasonably possible, will not disadvantage people who have already entered.

11. Social media promotions

Where a giveaway is promoted through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or another social media platform, the promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with that platform unless expressly stated otherwise.

Entrants remain responsible for complying with the relevant platform's terms of use.

12. General

By entering a Lace & Letters giveaway or prize draw, entrants agree to these terms and any additional conditions stated in the individual promotion.

If there is a conflict between these general terms and specific terms stated for an individual promotion, the specific promotion terms will take precedence.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
