These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed with Lace & Letters Ltd ("Lace & Letters", "we", "us" or "our").

By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing your order.

2. Placing an Order

Orders may be placed through our website or through direct communication with Lace & Letters.

An order is not confirmed until any required payment or booking payment has been received and we have accepted your order.

For personalised or bespoke orders, you are responsible for providing the information we require to complete your order, including names, dates, wording, quantities, colours and other personalisation details.

Please check all information carefully before submitting it to us.

3. Pricing

All prices will be clearly displayed on our website or confirmed as part of your individual quote.

Delivery or postage charges may be added separately and will be confirmed before you place your order where applicable.

For bespoke orders, prices are based on the requirements and quantities agreed at the time of quotation.

If you later request changes to the quantity, design, materials or other requirements, the price may need to be adjusted.

We will confirm any additional costs with you before proceeding.

4. Payments & Booking Payments

Some orders may require full payment when the order is placed.

For larger or bespoke orders, Lace & Letters may offer a booking payment or payment plan.

Where a booking payment is required, your order or production space will not be secured until this payment has been received.

Any remaining balance must be paid by the date stated on your invoice or payment schedule.

We reserve the right to delay design, printing, production or dispatch where a payment is overdue.

The terms relating to cancellation and any payments already made are explained below.

5. Personalised & Bespoke Products

Many Lace & Letters products are made specifically for you and may include personalised names, dates, wording, colours or designs.

Because personalised and bespoke products are made to your specifications, the standard right to cancel an online order simply because you have changed your mind may not apply once production of your personalised goods has begun.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

6. Design Proofs & Approval

Where applicable, we may send you a digital proof before your products are printed or produced.

It is your responsibility to carefully check the entire proof, including:

Names and spelling

Dates and times

Venue details

Guest names

Table numbers or names

Menu choices

QR codes and links

Grammar and wording

Colours

Layout and other personalisation

Once you approve a proof, you are confirming that you are happy for us to proceed with production.

Lace & Letters cannot accept responsibility for errors that appeared on an approved proof where the information was supplied or approved by you.

If you notice an error after approval, contact us as soon as possible. If production has not started, we will try to make the change.

If printing or production has already started, additional charges may apply for amendments or reprinting.

If an error has been made by Lace & Letters and does not match the proof you approved, we will work with you to put this right.

7. Colours & Product Appearance

We make every reasonable effort to represent our products and colours accurately.

However, colours may appear slightly different between screens and printed materials due to differences in displays, printers, materials and production methods.

Minor variations in colour, positioning, size or finish may occur with handmade, personalised or individually produced products.

These small variations are not normally considered faults where they do not materially affect the overall product.

8. Customer-Supplied Information & Images

You are responsible for ensuring that any wording, photographs, images, logos, QR codes or other materials you provide to Lace & Letters are accurate and that you have permission to use them.

You must not ask us to reproduce material that infringes another person's copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to refuse to reproduce material where we reasonably believe doing so may infringe another person's rights or be unlawful.

9. Changes to Your Order

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your order.

We will try to accommodate reasonable changes where possible.

Changes requested after design work, printing or production has begun may incur an additional charge.

Significant changes to quantities, designs or specifications may require a revised quote.

10. Wedding or Event Date Changes

We understand that weddings and events sometimes need to be postponed.

If your wedding or event date changes, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where production has not yet begun, we will make reasonable efforts to move your order to the new date, subject to our availability.

If products have already been designed, printed or produced, additional charges may apply if changes or replacements are required.

A change of wedding or event date does not automatically entitle you to a full refund.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

11. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@lacenletters.com.

For non-personalised products, any applicable cancellation rights will be honoured in accordance with UK consumer law.

For personalised or bespoke products, cancellation rights may be limited once work or production has begun because the products are being made specifically for you.

If you cancel before work has begun, we will confirm whether any payment is refundable based on the circumstances and any work or costs already incurred.

We will not retain payments where doing so would be unlawful or unfair.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.

12. Printing & Production Times

Any turnaround or production times provided are estimates unless we specifically agree otherwise in writing.

Production times may vary depending on the size and complexity of your order, customer response times, proof approval, supplier availability and busy periods.

Production times begin once we have received all required information, payment and proof approval where applicable.

Please order with enough time before your wedding or event.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

13. Delivery

Orders requiring delivery will be sent to the delivery address provided by you.

Please ensure your delivery details are correct.

Estimated delivery dates provided by postal or courier services are not guaranteed unless a guaranteed delivery service has specifically been purchased.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive any available tracking information where a tracked service is used.

If your parcel appears to be lost or significantly delayed, please contact us so we can investigate with the delivery provider.

14. Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders

Please contact us as soon as possible if your order arrives damaged, faulty or does not match what you ordered.

We may ask you to provide photographs so that we can investigate the issue.

Where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, repair or refund.

15. Returns

Because many Lace & Letters products are personalised or made to order, they generally cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind where the legal personalised-goods exception applies.

This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not meet your statutory rights.

16. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, designs created by Lace & Letters remain the intellectual property of Lace & Letters Ltd.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the underlying design or give permission for the design to be copied, reproduced, resold or used commercially.

Any third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

17. Photographs of Our Work

We may wish to photograph completed products for our portfolio, website or social media.

Where an order contains information that could reasonably be considered private or sensitive, we will take appropriate care before publishing it.

If you would prefer that your order is not photographed or shared, please contact us.

18. Our Responsibility

We are responsible for providing goods in accordance with our obligations under UK consumer law.

We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by inaccurate information supplied and approved by the customer.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under consumer law.

19. Privacy

Personal information provided to Lace & Letters is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.

The Terms & Conditions applicable to your order will generally be those in effect when your order is placed.

21. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Consumers will retain any mandatory legal protections that apply to them.
